very true. I almost never use the sniper rifle in Future Perfect... I find the flare gun to be equally effective, and so much more fun to use! This flash is great, enjoyed it very much
Again, a great flash movie by Alvin-Earthworm. I've always been impressed by your flashes, and SMBZ has always been my favorite, right from when you first handed out Episode 1. And, as shown, not all good things have come to an end yet. Clever dialog, a healthy dose of plotline, and great humour. While the fight scenes aren't as heavily detailed or long as they were in the previous installment, they are certainly good enough, and the 8-bit fight scene was great- I loved the use of Okkusenman (The name of the Japanese rock song that because the BGM in Wily Castle 1 in MM2) as Shadow's theme whilst he was in Minus World. In short, great offering, and well worth the 16-month wait!
Somewhat funny throughout the first part of the flash, but the Linux Cameo and PC continually acting like most of the people I know at school hit a nerve, and I couldn't stop laughing. Very nice!
Very, very good. Nice visuals, excellent background ambience, and the puzzles are as intriguing as always. The throwback to Submachine 2 was fun as well.
The only issue is that the ambience in teh chasm was annoying.
Knda funny, watching the blue guy at the end, you can almost hear him saying, "Oh Shiiii-". The music didn't quite fit well, although tetris themes are perfect for this, I felt the trumpets weren't the right instrument set to use, I'd have used something a bit deeper, and with a slower tempo.
The animations were vbery smooth, though the stick figures seemed to be weighed down, their reactions were good but they acts like they were made of lead.
IT takes a lot to bring a tear to my eye, blast of cold air aside. Very smooth animation, the soundtrack was perfectly in sync with the video, and the treatment of the composer after his first performance. I find that the feeling of the Composer are shared beautifully, and emotion of the sotry is very well presented, and the fact that you used no text except for the title and end credits is a testament to the ability and prowess that this flash displays.
Absolutely wonderful, again. There is so much I can mention about this, I'll try a list some. But firs tI'll apologize; my computer has heat issues, and it lagged when I voted... it got a 2 instead of a 5 (oops).
Anyways, things I noted were the constant and subtle bits of humour you put in, such as waluigi hitting the camera or the 'eh-eh' when waluigi thinks there's no emerald. It did crash for me the last tim around when black was yelling at red about almost being hit by the breaker beam, but I'm pretty sure that was my comptuer and not the flash. All-in-all, great work, and I cannot wait to see the next installment.
While not flashy or overly impressive graphically.
...I did laugh several times, in fact I was laughing for most of it. Maybe I've just got a wet sense of humour, but I found it mostly funny. The audio was good quality, and ripped/arranged/etc. well. The biggest drag probably had ot be the feeling of absolute boredom presented, if didn't quite feel right. 7/10
I like how the animation is done, it's very smooth and clean. The reactions of the stick figures seem a little dull, though, as if their reactions were very deadened or impaired. The music fits well, and the 'physics' of the barrels were quite effective and believable. The donkey Kong throwback is also very nice. A little short, though. 8/10.
